Westmorland and Furness
View on Google MapsPhoto: The Traveller
The Duddon Estuary and Lake District National Park are within reach from this single pod on a working farm outside Dalton-in-Furness. Coastal paths and fell routes start nearby; Dalton town centre is a short drive for shops and pubs. The pod sits among open countryside with estuary views, and you have sole use of it—a double bedroom, sofa bed in the living area, shower room, and kitchen with electric hob and full-sized fridge.
Everything needed for self-catering is provided: bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are all included. You get a private parking space and your own outdoor sitting area with garden furniture and a firepit. The farm also runs an honesty shop for basics like fresh milk and local items. No smoking is allowed inside.
The pod suits couples, small families, or friends wanting a countryside base without the constraints of a traditional holiday let. It sleeps four and is yours for the whole of your stay.

We had a fantastic stay in the Orchard Pod which was clean and comfortable with stunning views. The kids loved the huge field to run around and play in, and seeing all the sheep. A special mention has to go to Sky, the friendly farm dog. The whole experience was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for. We'd highly recommend High Haume Glamping to anyone wanting a rural getaway, and we can't wait to return.

Amazing weekend, we loved the views, the animals and the short walk to the pub. The honesty shop was very convenient and topped up daily. Glamping with underfloor heating, a kettle, toaster and sink with running water in the pod was a nice feature. We enjoyed the evenings playing board games, the dining table and chairs were fantastic for this. The cleanliness of the pod and the bathroom facilities was to a very high standard. Each pod having an individual bathroom was a massive bonus, we felt it was safe for our daughter to go to the toilets alone as she was not sharing the facilities. We also used this space to store our towels and toiletries, freeing up limited pod space. We would 100% return and recommend this place to families or couples looking for a place to escape. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Best pod we have ever stayed in! ( and we have stayed in quite a few!) The facilities in the pods was just above and beyond the pods we have previously stayed in and for very little difference in cost! The running water, the kettle, mini fridge and microwave made the camping experience so much more enjoyable, especially when staying with 2 young children. The fact that we had our own personal shower and toilet room was also such a luxury. There was no pressure to be in and out quickly, like in a shared block, and it provided a place to leave toiletries and towels, freeing up space in the pod. Such a great idea! The views were out of this world - we were very lucky to get a week of sunny weather meaning we got to see four gorgeous sunsets over the sea. In addition to all of this, our girls just loved the goats and chickens roaming about the place. The baby goats were so entertaining and they loved feeding them. They were actually quote sad to leave them on the Friday when we left! Farmer Phil was also very friendly and happy to help where he could. The cleanliness of the place was super too :) We will be back! The Woodwards

Brilliant weekend away to celebrate my son's birthday. The pods are so comfortable and clean. The location is gorgeous with lots of space for kids to play. The little shop is really handy and lovely to get involved and feed the chickens and goats. We'll definitely book again, really recommend.
