The Coach House

The Coach House is a converted property sleeping 16 across eight bedrooms and four bathrooms, set in Great Urswick in the South Lakes. The layout spreads across two floors, with mixed bed sizes including super king, king and single options; several bedrooms are galleried spaces accessed via stairs or ladders from adjacent rooms. Ground floor holds one bedroom with ensuite and a shared family bathroom, while the first floor contains the remaining seven bedrooms—five with their own ensuite bathrooms. Throughout, you get a woodburner in the living room, an Aga in the kitchen, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, wine cooler and coffee machine. Laundry facilities and a utility room are on hand. Wi-Fi and heating are included; bed linen and towels are provided.

Outdoors, a private hot tub accommodates six people, and there is space for four cars. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property suits large family groups or multi-generational gatherings—within walking distance is a local pub serving food. Smoking is not permitted inside. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
