The Old Workshop is a three-storey cottage in Sedbergh, sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms. The building itself is the draw here—a converted workshop with character enough to justify the name, offering more than the standard holiday let formula. Everything is included to get you settled: electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered.
Inside, the property spreads across three floors. Two double bedrooms sit on the first floor alongside a single bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. Ground floor space contains the kitchen, diner and an extra toilet, while the upper storey holds the main living area with sloped ceilings that make the most of the available light. The kitchen is properly set up for self-catering, so you can manage your own meals rather than relying entirely on eating out.
Sedbergh is on the eastern edge of the Lake District, putting serious walking country within immediate reach. A pub sits within a mile, and the town itself has shops and cafes for everyday needs. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Lovely, quirky, comfortable, well equipped self contained accommodation in a beautiful part of the world. Madeline was the perfect host. So easy to get to off the M6. Had an amazing stay with the bonus of fantastic weather for September.

Great location, modern fit out, clean, lovely bathroom, everything you need. Internet was good enough to run our IT business on our working holiday!

Comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We spent one night here and enjoyed walking in the fells and a fantastic meal at the Black Bull. The Old Chair Workshop was the perfect base.
