About Cherry Blossom Guest House

A 24-hour reception and adults-only policy set the tone at Cherry Blossom Guest House, a straightforward bed and breakfast on Ruswarp Lane within easy reach of Whitby Abbey. It's a laid-back sort of place, favoured by those who want somewhere uncomplicated to rest between exploring the town rather than a destination in itself.

Rooms are traditionally decorated and en-suite, with drinks provided and free Wi-Fi throughout, and parking is available for those arriving by car. Mornings start with a full English breakfast, a solid base before heading out for the day.

The surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists, with routes on the doorstep, while golf and fishing are both within reach for those wanting a slower pace. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries sit nearby too, along with local entertainment options, making it easy to fill an evening after a day spent around Whitby's attractions.

The guest house is around 20 minutes walk away from Whitby centre, but Robin is happy to tell you the easiest way there. The house was clean, and friendly, and the hosts were superb. There were some thoughtful touches in the room such as fresh cake, biscuits and a water bottle. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was to die for!

Cherry Blossom Guest House is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts I have stayed in. Robin and Tanya were fantastic hosts. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with there was a choice of 4 different types of coffee. The room was lovely and clean, we had a rwin room and the beds were electric. Every day when we came back after our day out there was 2 kit kats, 2 pieces of cake, 4 sweets, pack of 2 biscoff biscuits and a bottle of water. Robin told us a shorter route into Whitby which was on a 20 minutes walk otherwise it would have been a 30 minue walk by the main road. Thank you x

About a 20 minute walk into the centre of Whitby. Only stayed one night, but it is a lovely little guest house. The room was lovely, had a huge TV on the wall, tea making facilities, cakes, biscuits and chocolate. The bathroom was warm and had a lovely view. It was the first time I've stayed in a guest house and it was more intermate than I expected. The service was very warm and welcoming though, and I would recommend it.
