About Chettle Farm Campsite

Tucked into a secluded tree-lined meadow that opens onto the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside, Chettle Farm offers a genuinely off-grid camping experience for those looking to escape the crowds. Each grass pitch comes with its own fire pit and grill, plus there's a communal fire lit twice weekly where fellow campers gather on hay bales under the stars. The eco-friendly facilities include composting toilets, sun-heated showers, and plenty of washing-up space, keeping things rustic but comfortable.

With just a handful of pitches, the site strikes a fine balance between sociable and spacious, giving you room to string up a hammock or simply enjoy the peace. Dogs are welcome year-round, and the location puts you within reach of canoeing, cycling, and fishing. It's a retreat into the great outdoors with wood sold daily on-site and spectacular scenery all around.

Really beautiful campsite! Very quiet (apart from Sebastian the goose)-but he is also very lovely! Shane was so friendly and accommodating to us! Would 1000% come back and book directly through them rather than pitch up! Great park for children! Showers were very clean and a good pressure! Only £1 for 5 minutes which was great!

Great campsite, helpful staff, great facilities. Was busy enough but everyone respectful and quiet. Would definitely use again. Informed via email prior to arrival about showers costing a pound which was appreciated as it gave me notice to get cash

Stayed here for 4 nights but weather was bad and ended up staying an extra night so we can pack up in the dry. Shane and Bonnie went out there way to ensure we had a nice stay, campsite is beautifully kept and facilities immaculate. Also had car trouble on arrival and Shane lent us and help fix our car on the bank holiday Monday. Can’t ask for better hosts than that. Was lovely to see our children playing with other children in the evenings in the play park. Would recommend to families.
