Couples and solo travellers looking for a rural escape will find Helen's Shepherds Hut a genuine retreat. This single, self-contained unit sits in a cottage garden in Wiltshire, surrounded by tall trees and with views across meadow land. The hut is insulated with sheep's wool and equipped with underfloor heating, making it comfortable in any season.
Inside, everything unfolds on one level: a double bed, shower room, and an open-plan living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has a plug-in hob and multi-function microwave for preparing your own meals, while a TV and DVD player provide entertainment. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Outside, a garden with sitting furniture offers a place to unwind, and a fire pit is available in dry weather. Private parking for one car is on site, and dogs are welcome (kept on a lead). A welcome pack awaits on arrival, along with tea and coffee to start you off.
Footpaths run through the surrounding fields, ideal for walks. The brewery Stonehenge Ales Ltd is nearby, and local country pubs are within walking distance. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
