What visitors say
Lovely campsite near Tilshead, Wiltshire. Stayed there to go to the Solstice 2026. Great pitches - flat, level ground to pitch up on (seriously, you wouldn't believe how many campsites get this wrong!). Also great facilities, showers, toilets, kitchen, launderette - all clean and well appointed. The area has no phine service, so, initually, they let me go on their Wi-fi to look for and phone a cab to Salisbury, but then called a cab owner they knew and got me a quick cab at a good price, and we sat and had a good old chinwag til the cab arrived! Really lovely people ans so welcoming. I heartily reccomend a stay at Brades Acre, especially for the Solstice!

We stayed here on Tuesday 30th June, as part of a trip down south. We were running late on the motorway but phoned up and found the owners to be hugely welcoming, reassuring us that as long as we didn't arrive too late or make much noise, there would be no issue and we'd catch up in the morning for check-in, etc. Campsite very peaceful, quiet, beautiful views. Washrooms etc are very clean, no issues at all. Will definitely return for a third visit in the future !

This is our second visit to this cute, spotlessly maintained campsite. We last visited in January ( it is open practically all year! ) We had a hardsranding pitch with electric on both occasions. It backs onto open fields and was great for the dog. There were campers in the grassy areas this time and a group of friends who were in old military tents and vehicles! Very close to the tank runs on Salisbury Plain and only 10 minutes from Stonehenge! They had some pods and little chalets for hire there too( including The Hobbit Hole) There were also some cute chainsaw carvings that had been lovingly painted. The best was a giant cockerel!

Does what it says on the tin. Lovely pitches and a field to camp in. Facilities well kept. Very friendly welcome and then left to enjoy. One small downside to being out in nature were the thousands of crows housed in the trees next to the field. Wow, they are loud! Overall a good night's stay in close vicinity to Stone Henge.
