Rowdecroft Farm Cottage is a ground-floor annex built around generous open-plan space: a dining and living area with vaulted ceilings runs the length of the property, flooded with light and creating room to breathe. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a gas oven and hob, dishwasher and the usual appliances. One bedroom has a king bed, the other two singles; each has its own ensuite bathroom with shower. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included, along with heating.
The cottage sits in countryside near Rowde, between Devizes and Melksbuty. The garden has sitting-out furniture and a charcoal barbecue; there are three steps down to it. Two cars can park on site. Silbury Hill, the largest prehistoric mound in Europe, lies nearby, as does Avebury Stone Circle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Kennet and Avon Canal is close by for walking and cycling. No smoking throughout the property.
