About The George & Dragon
Just three rooms make up The George & Dragon, a historic inn on High Street in Devizes, Wiltshire, which keeps things intimate rather than sprawling. It's the kind of place where guests get proper attention rather than getting lost in a big hotel machine, and its town-centre position puts everything within easy reach on foot.
Rooms come with breakfast included and free WiFi, and the on-site restaurant and bar mean there's no need to head out for an evening meal or a nightcap. Free on-site parking is a useful bonus for a High Street address, where parking can otherwise be a hassle.
The George & Dragon also works as a wedding venue for those after a smaller, characterful setting rather than a large function room. Its Devizes location suits walkers and cyclists well, with the surrounding Wiltshire countryside offering routes out in most directions, and the town itself within easy walking distance of the door.
