The Old Tack Room began life as a working stable and retains that rural character in its bones. Now converted into holiday accommodation, it sits in Tilshead, a quiet village on Salisbury Plain with the Rose & Crown pub within walking distance. The property is yours alone: a full house that sleeps five across three bedrooms, with two bathrooms upstairs and down.
Ground floor has the main living space—open-plan with a woodburner for cool evenings—plus a twin bedroom with ensuite shower. Upstairs, a double bedroom and a single complete the layout. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering: electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and full refrigeration. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; wood for the stove is there too. One dog can stay free of charge, and there's an enclosed garden for outdoor time. Two cars can park on site.
The location suits walkers and those exploring the Plain's prehistoric sites. Stonehenge and Avebury are accessible for day trips. The surrounding countryside is open for wandering, and the village itself has a quiet, established feel. No smoking inside the property.
