Forgot to do my review from when I went in Feb but my partner and I really had a great time here. The staff was so lovely on arrival, the room was big and lovely, the breakfast was nice and the room attendant always made an effort to clean the room everyday. Hot tub was a huge bonus, really nice and warm 💕

Absolutely amazing stay here!!! We stayed in the Bowness Spa Suite and will definitely be going back! The room was gorgeous, the spa was immaculate and so relaxing - the photos dont even do it justice! The cinema room was also amazing and we heard no noise from any other rooms. I checked the reviews before coming and I think a lot of them are quite critical! We thought the staff were amazing at check in and our stay was one to remember! 5 stars over and over again!

uring our stay, we experienced multiple issues that fell significantly below reasonable customer service standards and impacted our right to quiet enjoyment, comfort, and basic accommodation expectations. A cleaner entered our room early in the morning without prior notification, permission, or adequate warning, which constituted an unacceptable breach of privacy. The bathroom facilities were also defective. The hot tap would only function when the shower was running, indicating poor maintenance and inadequate room checks prior to guest occupancy. In addition, the hot tub in the bathroom emitted intermittent loud noises throughout the night, causing repeated disturbance and loss of sleep. Despite raising this concern with management, we were informed that noise from the hot tub during the night was something we should have expected. This response dismissed a legitimate complaint regarding excessive noise disturbance and failure to provide suitable sleeping conditions. The room layout further contributed to the disruption, as the bed was positioned directly beside the door, allowing constant noise from residents walking along the corridor throughout the night. The overall environment was not conducive to rest or comfort. Although the manager initially apologised and stated the issues would be investigated, no meaningful resolution, compensation, goodwill gesture, or consolidation was offered despite the clear impact on our stay. Furthermore, guests were not informed that there was an out-of-hours support number available once reception closed after 10:30pm. This left us without accessible assistance during the period when the disturbances occurred. Overall, the accommodation failed to meet reasonable standards of care, maintenance, guest communication, and customer service expected under basic consumer rights and hospitality obligations.

3rd visit. We like it. But, the last visit was at the Elysian suite wasn’t the best. The carpets are dirty, the fridge isn’t cold enough, hairs in the bath, dirt under the bed, tv buffered too much, fire didn’t work (nothing left for us to put in it), reception and night porter didn’t answer when rang. The other places were nicer and cleaner.
