Family-run Thames-side park at Hurley, about 11 miles upriver from Windsor
About Hurley Riverside Park
Hurley Riverside Park stretches along a peaceful reach of the Thames between Marlow and Maidenhead, run by the same family for decades. The site unfolds through open meadow and mature trees down to the water's edge, with two boat slipways, riverside picnic spots and a nature trail threading the margins. It's the nearest touring park of any size to Windsor – roughly eleven miles by road – and reception sells discounted Legoland tickets for families heading that way.
Pitching spreads across several named fields, from electric hook-ups in Pine and premium hardstanding in Ash to simpler non-electric grass in the Paddock. Three heated shower blocks serve the site well, with family rooms, an accessible bathroom and coin laundry, plus EV charging for those who need it. The on-site shop stocks essentials and a children's playground offers swings, climbing frames and table tennis, though some visitors note facilities can feel a touch tired in places. Two dogs are welcome per pitch, with a dedicated exercise field and dog shower. Hurley village sits five minutes' walk away – a couple of pubs, a Norman church – and the Thames Path runs straight through camp in both directions.

Just coming back from our second stay at this wonderful campsite... Pitches are large, campsite is vast and well kept. Amazing space for running dogs and great children activity park. The wood trail is fantastic but more than everything is the riverside wich is stunning and you can swimm in the clean water. We love this campsite for space, lovely staff and amazing location. We will back soon!!

Great first impressions! We were greeted by the cheery Baz who showed us to our pitch. The lady cleaning the toilets was very friendly. Our weekend relaxing with the family was soon spoiled by the pedantic attitude of site security! There were other campers who were also in his line of fire. Lovely site, we had a polite greeting as we left but we will not be returning.

Hi - this is a fantastic camp and touring site. The Location is very near to the Thames river with a grassy riverside meadow to relax in and launch SUPs and kayaks or to swim from. The pitches were completely flat and grassy with lots of trees around the field. The facilities were great too , plentiful hot water for showers and washing up and loads of toilets and showers that were cleaned frequently. Nice little shop for essentials and you don't need to vacate your pitch until 12. Great place - they even arranged fantastic sunny weather for our stay !

This site was picked out by the wife as my retirement weekend treat and what a treat. Pitches are varied, large and in good condition. Staff are amazing and helpful. Toilet/Shower blocks are clean with plentiful hot water. Great location next to the river Thames with beautiful walks. Family and dog friendly with lots wildlife. Watching the kites is amazing. All in all a great site that is recommended and we are already planning to take the grandkids there in the summer!
