Swiss Farm Touring and Camping

Fantastic caravan touring park within easy walking distance to Henley on Thames. Site pitches well spaced out and plenty of room. Lovely location. Spotlessly clean facilities and very friendly, helpful staff Onsite restaurant is excellent with good choice of delicious food and beverages. Sunday roast was excellent and breakfast too. Definitely worth a visit.

What a fantastic campsite and an absolute hidden gem for families with dogs. We originally chose this site because we were visiting LEGOLAND for our son’s 6th birthday and needed somewhere dog-friendly to stay. As many dog owners will understand, theme parks and similar attractions often create a dilemma because dogs aren’t permitted and you don’t want to leave them alone all day. When the campsite told us they had a resident dog behaviour specialist; Jackie who offered dog-sitting services, we were absolutely delighted. In many years of camping, this is the first time we’ve ever come across anything like it and it is such a brilliant idea. We arranged for our dogs, Charlie and Lola, to spend the day with Jackie whilst we visited LEGOLAND. The whole experience was seamless and gave us complete peace of mind. Knowing our dogs were being expertly cared for meant we could fully enjoy our family day out. It is genuinely a service that more campsites should consider offering. The site itself is wonderful. There is a fantastic playground for children, plenty of open space to relax, beautiful off-lead walking opportunities and a lovely riverside walk into Henley. The location is ideal and offers the perfect balance of countryside tranquillity whilst still being close to local attractions. Although our stay was relatively short and we didn’t have the opportunity to use the restaurant or swimming pool, everything we experienced exceeded our expectations. For families travelling with both children and dogs, this campsite really has thought of everything. Happy kids and happy dogs equals happy tired parents, and that’s exactly what we found here. We will definitely be returning, this time to spend more time enjoying both the campsite and the local area.

This is the best campsite we have been to! ☺️ The site is immaculately clean, the staff are all so kind and welcoming, kids loved the playground/football nets. The surroundings are wonderful and whilst I was there I saw so many rabbits and even a heard of deer in the early hours. Mine and my kids favourite thing there though was the outdoor pool, we came on a heatwave week and it was such a relief to have it there. If I was to give one suggestion is perhaps having some fridges/freezers so people can store bits of food in, Ice lollies were needed in this weeks heat!! However still wouldn’t put me off of coming back.

What a fantastic campsite! We had a wonderful stay at Swiss Farm. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pitches are spacious and level. The facilities are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a holiday park. It’s a perfect base for exploring Henley-on-Thames, which is just a short, pleasant walk away. Can’t wait to come back! 🚐🌳
