About Ansty Hall
Dinner and breakfast are a genuine highlight at Ansty Hall, with a restaurant turning out food that's consistently well-presented, alongside a bar for a quieter drink before or after a meal. It's the kind of place where a good plate of food matters as much as the surroundings, and both are taken seriously here.
The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom, and the historic character of the house comes through in the setting rather than in cramped or fussy interiors. Staff are friendly and attentive, though service can occasionally feel a little inexperienced, worth bearing in mind if you're after slick precision rather than warmth. A 24 hour reception means arrivals and requests are easily handled at any time.
Outside, the grounds are well maintained and add to the sense of a tranquil retreat in the West Midlands countryside, just outside Coventry. There's a pub or bar nearby for those who fancy a change of scene, and entertainment options within reach for evenings out beyond the hotel itself. It's a solid base for a relaxed stay, with the dining room doing much of the heavy lifting.

What guests say
Our family had a wonderful stay at Ansty Hall. The staff from reception to the restaurant were incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive. Dinner at Twine was exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. It was clear that great care went into creating a special dining experience. The children were absolutely delighted by the little treat waiting for them on their beds. It was such a thoughtful touch that made them feel extra special. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. It was fresh, delicious and offered a wonderful variety to suit everyone in the family. The staff were incredibly kind, always ready with a warm smile and engaging in lovely conversations (Debbie) that made our mornings even more pleasant. Overall, it was a truly wonderful and memorable experience for our whole family.

A lovely, welcoming hotel. Very dog friendly (which for us was perfect!), with a dog bed, towel, bowls, and doggy treats all waiting for us in our dog friendly room on arrival. Understandably, we weren’t allowed in the restaurant with our dog, but all other areas were accessible. We ate at the hotel on both evenings of our stay, and we had lovely food on each occasion. Very well presented, and delicious! Breakfast was also excellent. On our second evening we thought we’d treat ourselves to a couple of cocktails, and after we were asked what our preferences were we were both made bespoke cocktails. Thanks Alfie, they were lovely! We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff during our stay, who were all very friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. A lovely stay, and definitely somewhere we would return to.

We had an excellent 1 night stay here. We have previously stayed in central Coventry but this was a brilliant alternative only a 15 minute drive away. Beautiful setting, lovely staff, good rooms, quality tea and coffee. Great value as well.

The recent refurbishment is incredible, beautifully and tastefully done with so much decadence and a nod to local architects, industry and trade. I was delighted with the food I sampled, the full menu looks incredible and I’m so happy that it’s so close to where I live in a neighbouring village.
