About Worcester Whitehouse
An indoor swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi set the Worcester Whitehouse apart from a typical town-centre hotel, giving guests somewhere to unwind beyond the usual bar and lounge. The hotel sits on Foregate Street, within easy reach of the train station and Worcester's town centre, making it a practical base for both business and leisure visits.
There are 84 rooms in total, including family rooms and en-suite and accessible options, with drinks available in-room and a lift serving the building. Some of the facilities show their age, though the fundamentals remain well looked after. Breakfast draws particular praise, with a wide spread on offer each morning, and the on-site restaurant and bar cover other meals and drinks. A gym rounds out the leisure facilities, while meeting rooms and business services suit those visiting for work, and there's a garden, bridal suite and wedding facilities for those marking an occasion.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and concierge services are on hand for local recommendations. Nearby options include a golf course, fishing, and a choice of pubs and restaurants, alongside entertainment options within the surrounding area. It's a straightforward, well-placed choice for exploring Worcester.
What guests say
In a perfect location to check out Worcester, this lovely old hotel has it all. Yes, it may need a bit of tlc here and there, but it's still cleaner and tidier than most Premiers. The grand central staircase is the link to its glorious past. The general manager is great, and so are most of the staff. The hotel also has a very reasonably priced bar, with some local real ales in bottles. Rooms are variable, in that they are nice, but only the top floor has aircon.

Had a lovely stay at the whitehouse for a work trip, we stayed during a massive heatwave and the Runah, our saviour, on the desks was very helpful in getting us a change in room to a great chilled AC room. Rooms themselves were very nice (moreso the doubles over the original corporate rooms) and gym/spa facilities were excellently equipped. Breakfast left a little to be desired but was perfectly adequate and overall we had a very restful time and loved the town of worcester. Very beautiful place!

Be prepared to step straight back into the 1800s. I stayed here with a few colleagues for a conference in July, and I definitely do not recommend this place in the summer. The rooms are fully carpeted and come with a terrible musty smell. It was extremely hot during our stay, and there is no AC in the rooms, just a tiny fan that barely makes a dent. There wasn't even a mini-fridge to keep drinks cold. The one positive thing I can say is that they have a gym. It’s small, but it honestly kept me sane during an otherwise incredibly stuffy trip.

We stayed at the Whitehouse on the 27th of May. It was so clean and comfortable. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Russell, who was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Frances and Julian.
