About Washington Central Hotel
Workington sits where the Cumbrian coast meets open countryside, and Washington Central Hotel occupies a spot on Washington Street within easy reach of both the shoreline and the walking and cycling routes that spread out around the town. It's a practical base for exploring West Cumbria, whether that means a day on the coast path or a round on a nearby golf course.
The hotel has 48 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and free WiFi, and guests can order drinks or room service without leaving them. Facilities extend to an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa or sauna, plus a bar and restaurant on site, with kids' meals available and breakfast served each morning. There's a lift, 24-hour reception, laundry service and free on-site parking, along with a garden and business services for those travelling for work. The hotel also acts as a wedding venue, with a bridal suite among its rooms.
