Wharfdale Lodge is a single-storey property sleeping six, refurbished in 2022 and situated in a quiet corner of the Fylde Coast between Thornton and Cleveleys. The whole bungalow is yours alone, with on-site parking for three cars, an enclosed rear garden with patio seating, and a bike store. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
Everything is on the ground floor. Three bedrooms comprise two doubles (4ft 6in) and one twin, served by two bathrooms—one with a walk-in shower and one with a bath and shower over. The kitchen comes with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. A separate living room has a smart TV and electric fire. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking throughout.
The location suits families and groups wanting coastal access without the crowds further south. Cleveleys seafront is moments away, with shops, cafés and beach a short walk off. The Mythic Coast Artwork trail displays large sculptures along the promenade. Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Tower are 4 miles round the coast by road or tram. Further afield, the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are within easy reach for day trips.

We had a fantastic stay at Wharfedale Lodge with our group of 24! The location is absolutely beautiful - scenic, serene, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lodge itself is large, clean, and full of quirky charm. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with all the utensils we needed, and the WiFi connection worked well throughout our stay. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the gathering area is large, cosy, and perfect for group activities. Wharfedale View annex is also cosy and quirky, ideal for smaller family gatherings. Overall, a wonderful place with a unique character, great for big groups or family get togethers. Highly recommend!

Excellent base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of communal space both inside and out make this a great place to stay with family and friends. We were a family group of 20 and had a great time here. The lodge is a characterful building - the kitchen facilities and dining room were well set up for us to cook and eat together, including a big Easter roast. 10 twin bedrooms are basic, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely loved it, enjoyed our family reunion there. The Lodge has many facilities and provided board games in case of a rainy day. Outside is beautiful and peaceful. Amazing hosts who provided excellent instructions beforehand and provided everything we needed for a great stay. We highly recommend this venue.

Stunning place. Visited with a group of friends during a bootcamp exercise. The place is massive and plenty of space to spend time with a large group of friends. The kitchens were very well stocked. The bedrooms were very small but when you're only spending a few days it's easy to manage.
