Bluebell Barn

Bluebell Barn is a converted barn on the edge of York, set up so you have the whole place to yourselves. Everything is on the ground floor: three bedrooms (one kingsize, one double, one with two singles), each with its own shower room, plus a separate toilet. The open-plan living area has a wood burner, Freeview Smart TV, and polished concrete floors, while the kitchen is fully fitted with electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. There's a utility room with a washer-dryer, and a lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue. Parking for four cars on site.

Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial logs for the burner. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. The location works well for accessing York itself—the city is reachable by bus or the nearby park and ride—but also for exploring on foot or by bike. Hagg Wood borders the property, and the Sustrans National Cycle Route passes close by. No smoking indoors.
