Just returned from this site. No waiting till 13:00 to book in, you can arrive at 10:00 and provided your pitch is available you can use it. The pitch we had, a semi services was great, a large stoned pitch with grass with plenty of room for our 7.5 Motorhome and awning. Toilet/shower block very clean as was the site itself. Great vending machine area, open 24hour from milk shakes, coffee, pizzas and some essentials you may have forgotten. A huge dog walking field and a lovely pub 5 minutes walk away. Surrounding area beautiful and site within easy reach of Weymouth, Bridport and Dorchester, bus stop just 2 minutes walk from entrance. A great site that we would definitely use again.

A gem of a site, with a friendly team working hard to ensure everything is tip top for your stay. The facilities are always clean and reception always welcoming. Opting for semi serviced pitches means their is never a tap too far away, but other pitch types are available. The vending machines at 'the old mill' add another dimension- with the milk shake machine being a firm favourite with young and old alike. I am told the pizza machine is good too, but have yet to try it, as there is a lovely pub (the Kings arms) just up the road and a cafe/farm shop even closer.

Stayed at the site in our camper van on an electric, gravel pitch.. Fantastic setup. Book on line and vehicle recognition lets you in. The site is spotless and very neat and tidy. Toilet/shower block is fantastic. Cleaned and very hot water. The vending machine part was excellent. Very good coffee. There was also ice-cream, milk, milkshakes and orange juice! Friendly staff . Great location for south Dorset and Portland. We'll definitely be back.

We booked a night here based on reviews I'd read. What a lovely little campsite this is. I don't think I've ever been to a campsite where the toilets are so clean! The campsite is very well kept and clean. There isn't a shop but the 24 hour vending machines are such a great idea. If ever we are back in the area we would without a doubt, book to stay here.
