What visitors say
We had a wonderful day at Drum Castle and would highly recommend visiting. The guided tour was excellent, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the castle. His enthusiasm really brought the stories of the castle and its former residents to life, making the tour both interesting and enjoyable. The castle itself is fascinating, with beautiful rooms, artwork, and a great sense of history. We also loved exploring the gardens—they are peaceful, beautifully maintained, and a perfect place for a walk. The woodland trails and rose garden were especially lovely. For families, the play area is a fantastic addition, giving children plenty of space to enjoy while adults can relax and take in the surroundings. Overall, Drum Castle is a great day out for all ages, combining history, beautiful gardens, and family-friendly facilities. We would definitely visit again!

Excellent day out at the Drum Castle, tour castle and walk over the hill to viewpoint, plus the amazing walled garden. Tour guide called 'Oscar' gave us a tour we won't forget, knowledgeable and enthusiastic in his approach to the tour. Mary's Larder, homely food for lunch, I do enjoy a decent pie, service prompt and efficient.

The beautiful of Scotland is unbeatable. As per the castle easily accessible through Google map it's you have to take turn from main to reach here. Beautiful landscape, little park for kids and trail for leisure walk or someone who wants jogging/running. Additionally there is whole forest area inside the castle premise. Overall nice place for picnic or have your kids day out.

Fun tour of the castle. The guide made it really entertaining. There is a tea room and also a food truck where you can get the same food to take away and eat in the court yard or in the park. There is also a walled garden and a park with trails and play area.
