Sunset Song comes fully equipped for self-catering holidays. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine, so you can cook properly or keep things simple. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The living and dining room has a Freeview TV and DVD player. Three bedrooms sleep five: a double bed, two single beds, and a further single. There is one bathroom with a shower, plus a separate toilet on the ground floor.
The cottage is one of three in a sympathetically restored schoolhouse on the Arbuthnott Estate, named after Lewis Grassic Gibbon's novels. You get a private enclosed lawn at the back, parking for two cars on site, and a small sitting-out area. The location is rural but accessible: Inverbervie's beach and coastal walks are 3½ miles away, and the area offers plenty of scope for walking and cycling. The Grassic Gibbon Centre is nearby. No smoking indoors. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

Perfect get away nice and peaceful in the countryside spent christmas there with the family everyone had a great time not to far from local amenities. Not to far from a major city either so best off both worlds. Accommodation was off good size was clean and tidy and very welcoming was made to feel as if at home away from home. Had 1 issue that was rectified immediately and that was a light bulb on its way out (can't blame the hosts)
