Rowan Cottage

Rowan Cottage is a two-bedroom semi-detached property on the edge of Huntly, within easy reach of forest walks, fishing opportunities, and the rolling hills of Aberdeenshire. Everything is on the ground floor: a living and dining space with wood burner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a shower room with walk-in shower. One bedroom has a king bed; the other contains two single beds that zip together into a super king if needed. A lawned garden to the front includes a summerhouse, and there is parking for two cars on site.

The cottage comes with wood burner fuel, heating (biomass and underfloor electric in the bathroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi all included. The single-level layout makes it accessible for families with younger children or anyone with mobility considerations. Huntly itself sits on the River Deveron and serves as a base for exploring the Whisky Trail, visiting Dunnottar Castle, and walking through Clashindarroch Forest. Dufftown and Keith are nearby, with further attractions beyond. No smoking or e-cigarettes indoors.
