We booked a 4 night stay based on photos and info provided by the hosts on their website as it looked stunning. On arrival we were delighted to find it even better than we hoped! Location is beautiful with stunning views all around and just so peaceful. The shepherds hut is beautifully appointed with everything you need for the stay. It was surprisingly spacious and I have to say, absolutely spotless on our arrival. Not a speck of dust in sight. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Lovely toiletries provided plus tea, coffee, milk and complimentary Welshcakes which were delicious. Hot chocolate & marshmallows also on hand for a cosy drink around the firepit and BBQ outside. There was a starter kit of wood provided for the firepit and more wood etc can be purchased from the little honesty shop on site if needed. Some delicious goodies also to tempt you in the shop, bacon, sausages, eggs, fresh bread and milk plus other lovely delicacies. We were slightly unlucky with the weather so didn't get to use the outdoor bath which I was looking forward to but we will return again soon to try it!! In all honesty I've never enjoyed a short break to mid Wales so much so thank you to our hosts Sarah and Shaun who have thought of literally everything to make a stay there top notch.

A little slice of heaven. The most wonderful hosts! The hut itself was spotless and everything you needed & more. The bed is extremely comfy! This is our 2nd year in the row with our dog and we’re going to book for 2027. The enclosed space is perfect for dogs, with a secure paddock for dogs also which he loved. A honesty shop on site with local meats, jams, sauces, butter and more which is amazing. We had the breakfast hamper there on arrival & it was amazing and well worth the money. See you in 2027. This place is the real deal. Five gorgeous shepherds hut nestled in a dip of land so all you can see is the sky, the green hills and the trees. Each hut is perfectly appointed and really comfortable - they even have an outdoor bath. The hosts Shaun and Sarah are charming and friendly and have the whole place set up magnificently. Really highly recommended. And I haven’t even mentioned Lily and Lupin, their donkeys! You’ll love it.

A very pleasant stay at Silver Ferns where you can switch off. Stunning views and the shepherd's hut is so clean it's ridiculous. The space inside has been well though out and there's everything you need all in it's place. A warm welcome from Sarah & Shaun and the best night's sleep I've had in years! Cooked breakfast hamper highly recommended and afternoon tea with the miniature donkeys is an absolute must - at least an hour with Lupin & Lily with Sarah telling us informative stuff. Sarah is enthusiastic and funny and the whole weekend was perfection. Need a break from the rat race? Book a stay here and you'll definitely be back.
