About Midfield Holiday & Residential Park
Midfield sits on a hilltop just off the A4120, about a mile and a half south-east of Aberystwyth, with views stretching out over Cardigan Bay and the surrounding countryside. This genuinely small, family-run site offers seventy-five pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes across level and gently sloping ground, sixty of them with electric hook-up. A new facilities block and free Wi-Fi across the park have recently brought things up to date, though the place retains its low-key, no-frills character. Village shops and a small out-of-town precinct lie within a few hundred metres, so you can cover most day-to-day essentials on foot.
The location also puts you close to the Ceredigion Coastal Path and the Ystwyth cycle route, as well as local forestry trails, making it a workable base for walking or cycling breaks. Aberystwyth's promenade, castle and harbour are all under two miles away.

Stayed 3 nights. Outstanding views from the site and easy access to Aberystwyth. New facilities block is very thoughtfully put together, showers and brilliant with a built in 'ante chamber' style space for your clothes so that they don't get wet. There were clothes washing and drying facilities we didn't use but the washing up space had complementary washing up liquid! If forced to find a complaint, It would be the bathroom sinks are a bit aggressive when they come on! Will definitely be recommending this site to friends and family and will book a return trip myself

Rocked up with no booking in our campervan in the late afternoon. The proprietor was very welcoming and accommodating. What great views! Lovely clean amenities. They’re in the process of building an additional toilet block. This did not affect us in any way. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely quiet site, great location, excellent sized pitch and fabulous host. Visited here twice already in 2025 and will return, dog and child friendly, dog park and child park, safe for little ones on bikes and an exceptionally tranquil setting with stunning views out to the sea and West, so beautiful sun sets. Washing up, laundry and bathroom facilities excellent and very clean.

Lovely clean sloping park with views our to sea and Aberystwyth by night is gorgeous. Therein lies a problem though as main touring at the top of the park with toilet and shower block at the bottom some distance away. That said a new block is under construction about halfway up. Many pitches are sloping so outfit will require levelling but many are flat. Pleasant staff
