About Premier Inn Aberystwyth
Premier Inn's Aberystwyth branch sits just steps from North Beach and Constitution Hill, a short walk from the town centre, castle and harbour. It follows the chain's familiar format of straightforward, well-priced en-suite rooms rather than period character.
An on-site restaurant, free Wi-Fi in public areas, lift access and parking make it a reliable, no-surprises option, and it consistently rates well against the town's smaller independent hotels for value.
It suits visitors who want a predictable standard and a central, beachside location without paying seafront boutique prices, and works equally well as a base for the town or for day trips into the Cambrian Mountains.
What guests say
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, my room was spotless and felt incredibly fresh from the moment I arrived lots of space and nice and cool on the sunny day. The location is truly unbeatable, nestled right in the heart of the town with all the local shops and restaurants at your fingertips, while also being just a short, pleasant stroll away from the sea. While the on-site parking is admittedly quite small and can be a bit of a pain to maneuver, I completely understood why the daily rate was a bit higher than expected. The town was absolutely packed during my visit, and having a guaranteed spot in such a prime, high-demand area was well worth the convenience. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and perfectly situated coastal getaway.

Shame about the petty, jobsworth reception guy on check-in... not what you need when youre knackered and need to sleep! That said, all the other staff were genuinely great, friendly and super helpful! The hotel parking was expensive and very limited though! Apparently the hotel are reviewing all that; let's hope they manage to fix this! Despite those issues, I will stay here again.

First thing to advise and get Premier Inn to correct - whilst a few rooms overlook the prom access, reception and most rooms overlook a back street, Bath St I think. If walking don't go to the prom ! Not the best PI, generally ok but kitchen and rooms look like they need a good clean - probably why there's a notice in the room telling you only to post 5* reviews and say cleanliness is great. It is not. Generally clean but carpets stained, kitchen ovens on show to restaurant are filthy. Highlighted by no hot breakfast when I was there because the chef didn't arrive! Not great, not cheap. But 'spoons do a good breakfast at a fraction of the price and are rated 5* hygiene unlike the Premier Inn!

My booking included parking, on check in I asked if I could give my vehicle reg in. The receptionist happily obliged, took my reg and advised that it will be added to the system I received 2x fines for each night of my stay from the car park owners, when requesting help with this from Premier Inn they advised that this was my fault and they could not help with the issue. Which was checked and confirmed by a “senior manager”. Apparently you must check the website to see if what the receptionist has told you is factual An understandable human error from an employee being expected to manage the hotel reception and the neighbouring restaurant. But, a clear lack of accountability from Premier Inns customer service team. Perhaps if the employees were not being overstretched, guests would not be left out of pocket from mistakes
