The staff at the Richmond could not have made us feel more welcome. Throughout our stay they were fantastic and really added to our experience. The hotel is lovely, dinner very nice, breakfast excellent and good selection of drinks. We would highly recommend and would visit again in a heartbeat. Thank you all

There was a strong smell in the room when I arrived with undertones of cleaning products. It was quite powerful. The room was also designed poorly with the hand towel being outside the bathroom. The heating was turned up to high and to adjust I had to move out a heavy desk that was in the way. Service was good, there were just a few issues with the bedroom is all.

This hotel has excellent, friendly staff and a superb cooked breakfast. We loved the location straight across the road from the sea and requested a seaview which wasn't charged as an extra. Parking is on a first come first served basis and we were able to get a space. Slight downside is the hotel is slightly dated but comfortable and clean. No lift. We've stayed here a couple of times and will be back.
