Another enjoyably stay at the Anchor. Paul and Nikki are the perfect hosts It’s obvious they have plenty of hospitality experience as you couldn’t want for any more. Cleanliness and comfort of rooms , stylish decor and a very tasty breakfast that is a must to include The best place to stay in this area as well as surrounding area. We will be back !!

My wife and I visited Alford and stayed at the Anchor for 3 nights. The hosts were excellent. Very informative and as helpful as any one could be. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped and included a small table top fridge. The large shower was superb. Brand new and powerful. Plenty of handrails for mobility issues for guests. The breakfast was served at the table, and the choice was anything you could think of. Huge secure carpark. price was reasonable for the quality of this B&B, Never been to the region before but would stay at Anchor House again if and when I return. Thank you Paul and Nicky.

A lovely hotel. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities were very good with a selection of biscuits provided. The breakfast was first class with a good selection of continental including fresh fruit salad and cereals. The full English breakfast was cooked to perfection with excellent quality produce. Paul the proprietor is very friendly and amiable as is his wife. We will definitely return.
