About Galley Hill Farm

Tucked into quiet woodland on a working farm near Alford, Galley Hill Farm offers adult-only camping and glamping just fifteen minutes from the Lincolnshire coast. The setting feels refreshingly secluded—pitches nestle among trees, and you're likely to hear little beyond birdsong and the hum of farm life. Dogs are welcome, making it a popular choice for couples seeking a peaceful escape with their four-legged companions.

Facilities cover the essentials: showers, toilets, drinking water, and waste disposal, though there's no WiFi—which many visitors see as a bonus given the tranquil, back-to-basics vibe. It's an uncomplicated, well-loved spot for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds or nipping to the coast, without the fuss of a larger commercial site.

Beautiful secluded spot, all you can hear is birds. Nightime stars are amazing as there is no light pollution. Ian and Sandra are lovely. Prices are good and hot water is plentiful. Peacock spotting is a bonus!

Galley Hill Farm ( camp site ) .. we’d throughly recommend this beautiful and peaceful ( adults only ) camp site .. it’s intimate pitches set within a wooded area really do provide peace and quiet along with protection from the elements .. ( we’ve just spent the weekend when dear old storm Amy caused havoc across large parts of the country ) nicely tucked away .. it’s a lovely small site on an area of Woods on the working fruit farm .. There’s electric hook up as well as water along with shower and toilet facilities on site .. add to this is an abundance of wildlife especially peacocks who do love to casually walk around throughout the day .. Sandra and Ian ( farm owners & hosts ) are so helpful and welcoming ( there if needed however happy to leave you in peace ) .. So if you’re looking for a small quiet place to stay you I’d highly recommend it ..

Loved it! Great campsite on a lovely farm near Alford. Sandra and Ian were so friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The resident peacocks are brilliant especially Steve (see photo!). The site is beautiful with trees all around you, good amenities, electric hook up, and we had a look at the glamping pods which are really nice and well equipped. There is a pick your own fruit orchard and Sandra makes her own jam that you can buy on the site (we got apple and chilli and its good). We had a great weekend and will definitely be back.

After very recently losing my partner, I came to Daisy pod for 3 nights with my dog to get away, relax and recharge before having to go back to face reality. The pod was clean and had everything you need. I spent most of the time sat on the decking...as did the dog!....listening to the birds and enjoying the sunshine. The 2 pods are in a lovely setting surrounded by trees. I even got used to the peacocks calling. Sandra and Ian were the perfect hosts and I will definitely be back at a later date to recharge. They also have PYO fields across the road with various fruits Highly recommend
