About Woodthorpe Hall Leisure Park

Woodthorpe Hall Leisure Park sits on grounds shared with an 18-hole golf course and fishing lakes, making it as much a leisure destination as a place to stay. The park offers lodges, pods and cottages across its grounds, with showers on site. An on-site bar and restaurant serve food and drink at reasonable prices, and there is a play area for children.

The setting is mixed-use and active rather than secluded. A garden centre lies just up the road, and the restaurant and bar are within the immediate grounds. The park accepts pets and is known for clean, well-maintained accommodation and helpful staff. Golf, fishing and children's play are the main draws, alongside the straightforward catering options nearby.

We had a lovely stay in one of the maple pods. The location and activities to do on site were great. The food at the restaurant was also great and reasonably priced. The only downfall was the cleanliness of the pod and the WiFi. We came in to find the decking furniture was covered in thick cobwebs and the outdoor cushions had quite a few marks and stains on them. The inside of the pod was dusty and again we found a cobwebs on the walls, chairs and dust all on the furniture and cooking area. The WiFi- luckily it was only me and my partner with no children with us but between us we had to pay £50 for a weeks WiFi… The WiFi stated one person could pay £25 for a weeks usage and 4 devices could connect however that wasn’t the case I had to pay another £25 for myself to use the WiFi, I wasn’t then paying again to use the tv as it wanted another £25 to connect the tv to the WiFi. Over all our stay was great but I think people with younger children need to be aware of the WiFi and the rooms could be cleaned and outdoor decking area could be maintained a little better.

Great location close to seaside and louth. Nice clean and tidy . Friendly staff. Restaurant was good reasonably priced food and drinks. Play area for kids, golf course on site. Lovely garden centre across the road. Even though it was busy it is nice and quiet . Nice clean toilet and shower blocks. The only downfall for me was that you have to press the shower button every 4 seconds for water. All in all a great place to come as something for everyone

We stayed in one of the cottages for a few months whilst our house purchase was going through. It was great - location of our cottage was just outside the park next to the golf course, it was very quiet and peaceful with great views over farmland and the golf course. Nothing was too much trouble and the cottage was immaculate. We would certainly stay there again and have already recommended Woodthorpe to friends and family.
