Peak Wildlife Park

Me and my Mum had the most incredible day at Peak Wildlife Park, kindly organised by Willow’s Charity. I chose the Polar Bear Experience, and it was an absolute privilege to get so close to these magnificent animals and even feed them. Our guide, Calen, was phenomenal. She was so knowledgeable and her passion for the bears was evident in everything she shared. We also stopped off for a coffee as well as lunch; the service was efficient and friendly. We really enjoyed the vegan hot dog! The park was very quiet when we went on a weekday, which made the experience even better as we could take our time. We spent the rest of the day wandering around seeing all the other amazing animals; the atmosphere is wonderful and there is so much to see. We loved all of the walk thru enclosures to be able to interact closely with the animals. Time flew by and we enjoyed every single minute. I can't recommend this experience and the park highly enough! We would love to come back for the tapir experience :)

We had a fantastic time here recently. Ourselves and baby (7mths) plus our friend and her 3 year old. It was super laid back, we visited on a Monday and it was really quiet so that was nice. The array of animals is amazing. We loved the mixture of walk through areas and viewing only areas. The food was nice from the restaurant & the coffee from the cafe was nice. Play area was fantastic! The gift shop even better, what a choice of things to buy, amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit 👍

Peak Wildlife Park (Staffordshire) is a fantastic, highly immersive day out that trades cages for up-close encounters. It’s relatively compact, taking about 2 to 4 hours to explore—perfect for families with young children. The Highlights: Incredible walkthrough enclosures where you can walk right alongside lemurs, penguins, and free-roaming wallabies. It is also home to a brilliant 5-acre polar bear reserve. The Vibe: Relaxed, hands-on, and easy to navigate. There are also great play areas and a cafe serving stone-baked pizzas. If you want a massive zoo with apex predators, look elsewhere. But for a magical, personal interaction with animals, it’s absolutely worth a trip.

Delightful and well thought out Wildlife park! For a cheaper ticket I would recommend booking online. It was wonderful to feed the Wallabies (£1.95) per feed pack, on the walk with the Wallabies who were super friendly! Some had Joey's as you can see from the photos are very cute. Pleased to see the Capabaras, Clementine and Marmalade who are new to the park. It was enjoyable to brush the sheep and watching the Lemurs being fed. The keeper gave an excellent talk on the Lemurs! It was good to see that the park had designated quite spots. Plenty of parking, big cafe with vegan options. Lots of variety and items for all budgets in the gift shop. I am looking forward to visiting again in the warmer weather and to brushing the sheep!
