The Stag’s Wallow

Amber Valley sits within reach of Ashbourne and the Peak District's walking trails, including the Tissington Trail and Dovedale. The Stag's Wallow is a single-storey lodge designed for two, with a king-size bedroom, shower room, and open-plan living and kitchen space on the ground floor. Large windows and patio doors frame views across the countryside; the garden is enclosed and comes with decking, seating, a gas barbecue, and a private two-person hot tub. One dog stays free.

The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer. The living area contains a sofa bed as flexible sleeping, a smart TV, and plenty of natural light. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating and a mobile air-conditioning unit are provided. The property has private parking for two cars and a bike store.

This suits couples wanting a peaceful base for exploring on foot or by bike, with the option to soak in the hot tub at the end of the day. Red deer sometimes appear beyond the garden fence. There are three steps down to the garden. No smoking indoors.
