What a lovely and well run Heritage Railway. I visited on a Saturday and a diesel was on duty but this is more than fine with me. Friendly staff and great value for money I had a very pleasant couple of hours traveling on the train and photographing the stations. Popped into the cafe too which was good value for money and just what was needed. Thoroughly recommended if this is your kind of thing.

Lovely preserved railway. The scenery is very pleasant and its all volunteer run by great people who are achieving so much. This is one of the more modest preserved railways. The steam locos are smaller, the line only 4 miles, but the stations are very impressive , there is a very impressive collection of classic diesels and its really nice to visit a smaller branch line which is less intense than some of the bigger railways. I got on at Bridge of Dun and the country station atmosphere was very special. Visited on a 'Steam Sunday' and really enjoyed the whole experience.

Fish and chips train - lovely fish and chips, Excellent service. Only downfall is it its a little run down, station at Dun needs a little tlc but altogether a great day with family.
