This is a residential and holiday park, not a hotel. There are some services i guess like a laundry room, and Seaton House does run some events etc. But definitely not a hotel. The "rooms" would be the individual lodges that people stay in not juat bedrooms. There is a children's playground on site and a cafe.

The actual park and location themselves were absolutely fine however the owners really need to hire new cleaning staff as the place clearly hadnt been given a good clean in between people using the holiday home, the bedding had stains and hairs on it, there was cobwebs from the ceiling, shower was dirty, oven was full of crumbs. Just wasnt very pleasant to sleep in

Overall experience was not okay. While the cafe and restaurant was good, and the property was very clean and child-friendly, many things went wrong. First, the advertising on Booking.com was misleading or incomplete- they did not refill basic amenities like toilet paper or garbage bins. When it is advertised as a place with kitchen, we would expect these basic amenities- but seems like they don’t provide. The housekeeping ladies were quite rude when we went to ask for additional toilet paper, unknowingly. The rooms were super small, difficult for grown adults- all on the same floor (it was advertised on multiple levels). The mattress was extremely bad to sleep on and not firm at all. The beds were as small as sleeping bags. When we raised these complains to the reception, we were sent back saying we should have known. Update: The Indian person at the reception was quite understanding and said he will talk to the manager for us and agreed with us that this wasn’t right. When you pay €200 a night, you would expect to be provided with toilet paper. The Scottish ladies on the other hand were quite difficult to deal with.

Stayed here over New Year with our family, we had 5 vans between us all. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were outstanding, very polite, professional and super friendly. We have had a great time here and will definitely be back.
