Glenskinno - The Steading

Within a short drive lie some of the region's best reasons to visit: Montrose Basin, a tidal estuary that draws thousands of pink-footed geese each winter; the sandy beaches at Lunan Bay and St Cyrus, good for long walks or families; and the Angus Glens inland, which rise toward the Grampians. The steading itself sits on farmland a few miles outside Montrose town, on grounds you share with the owners.

Glenskinno is a converted barn with space for eight people across four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs, a large open-plan room combines living, dining and kitchen areas, with a wood-burning stove, Freeview Smart TV, and doors opening to the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Two of the four bedrooms have zip-and-link super-king beds that convert to singles; one has a kingsize convertible to singles; one holds two single beds. One bedroom has an ensuite; the others share a family bathroom with both bath and shower. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with logs for the stove.

The garden is large and landscaped, with a private hot tub for six, rear patio with furniture and a barbecue, and space for three cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome at no extra charge. The property is non-smoking throughout.
