Strathisla Farm Cottages - Curlew Cottage

The Vale of Strathmore farmland around Curlew Cottage draws people back for peace and quiet. This single-storey detached property sits on a working arable and cattle estate, surrounded by the kind of countryside that brings red squirrels into the garden. It's far enough from the everyday but close enough to reach Perth, Edinburgh and the Highlands when you want to explore further; Glamis Castle is a few miles away.

You get a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with both a roll-top bath and shower, and a living space that centres on the wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. One dog travels free. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with logs for the stove and a welcome pack. There's a large enclosed garden with patio and furniture outside. The cottage is yours alone from arrival after 3pm until 10am checkout.
