Mid Village Croft is a restored former fisherman's cottage in the small coastal settlement of Cairndow. Downstairs, a sitting room with a wood-burning stove opens onto a back garden with furniture and sitting areas. The kitchen and dining space has patio doors that lead straight outside, and is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, dishwasher, and other essentials. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor, where there's a double bedroom downstairs and two single beds tucked upstairs. The bathroom has both a bath and shower cubicle.
The garden and water views form the real draw here—you can sit out morning or evening to watch the stillness of the loch and the mountains beyond. Parking for two cars is on site. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; fuel for the wood burner is provided to start you off. The cottage sleeps four and accepts one pet at no extra charge. No smoking is permitted inside.
Cairndow lies on the edge of Loch Fyne, close to the Douglas Boathouse and within reach of the wider Argyll coastline and countryside. It's a quiet base for walks along the shore or exploring further afield.
