The Moorings

The Moorings opens onto a ground floor arranged for everyday living: the sitting room has an open fire and smart TV, while the kitchen and dining area flow together with electric oven, gas hob and the full range of appliances. A utility room holds the washing machine—useful for rinsing out wetsuits after water activities—and there's a shower room with cubicle and separate toilet. Upstairs, one bedroom has a super king bed, the other two single beds, with a further toilet between them.

The cottage sleeps five and comes with bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating included; logs for the fire are provided too. Out front, a garden with sitting-out area and barbecue looks toward the loch. The back garden offers more space, and there's parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet can stay free. The property is non-smoking.

Cairndow sits on the shores of Loch Fyne in quiet countryside. From here you're within reach of Portavadie Marina and Spa for a day out, boat trips run from the same location, and the nearby Cowal Peninsula offers hill and coastal walks. Inverary is 25 minutes' drive away; Oban and Glasgow are around 90 minutes.
