Littlehampton sits where the River Arun meets the sea, giving the town two beaches and a working harbour. The Cottage by the Sea Annexe occupies a quiet corner of this conservation area, just a short walk from the promenade and sand. It's a Grade II listed single-storey property, one of two cottages on the site, with its own enclosed lawned garden where you and a pet can come and go as you please.

Inside, everything is on ground level: a living and dining room with television and DVD player, a kitchen equipped for cooking, a double bedroom, and an ensuite shower room. The garden has patio furniture and direct access from the cottage. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; parking is on the road outside. The cottage sleeps two and does not permit smoking.

The immediate area suits families and dog walkers drawn to the beaches and informal attractions – crabbing, boat trips around the harbour, the dune system at nearby Climping (a Site of Special Scientific Interest), or Harbour Park's rides. Slightly further afield are the South Downs, Arundel Castle, Chichester cathedral, and Goodwood racecourse. Rail links to London run from nearby stations.
