About Offcote Grange

Point your compass towards the Derbyshire Dales for an adults-only stay at Offcote Grange, a meticulously kept family farm a couple of miles outside Ashbourne. This 17th-century farmhouse setting offers a handful of electric grass pitches amid lush fields and ancient trees, where Pat and Chris maintain lawns and gardens to an admirably high standard. The farm's cheeky donkeys and grazing cattle add bucolic charm from neighbouring paddocks, though livestock means no dogs are permitted.

A purpose-built facilities block provides three sinks, toilets (including an accessible cubicle with higher seat and handrails) and a shower, plus water taps and chemical disposal. A well-trodden footpath passes right by the front of the farm, making walks into the Henmoor Valley or down to Ashbourne delightfully straightforward. The market town itself sits just 10 minutes' drive away, handy for loading up on treats from the deli and specialist food shops. A peaceful, walker-friendly bolt-hole for grown-up getaways.

So firstly the campsite we stayed in is attached to this. I booked here as wanted somewhere to stop overnight whilst travelling up country. The owners are really lovely people. The lady rang week before to explain might not be there when we arrived which was nice and also gave directions. My Sat - Nav took us straight to campsite. The view straight away was lovely. This set in a quiet area. They have shower/toilet block which was nice and clean. The owners came and chatted and really friendly. They do have the holiday cottages as well. But contact them for more information. They have wedding venue which would be lovely up there. The pitches are well looked after. Somewhere to wash plates if haven't got facility to do so. You can walk around the gardens. Definitely recommend and already said we would go again..

Eleven of us had a wonderful time staying here. There's so much to do in the area during the daytime and the large comfy sitting room was a great relaxing space at the end of the day. Pat and Chris were helpful and friendly and I got one wouldn't hesitate to return.

A lovely house and a lovely stay. You could only go in the hot tub until 9.30pm. There was also a games room in the description and this wasn't in the house. House was expensive. It was very nice, big and clean.

Wow wow wow! This place was just so perfect for us to celebrate two birthdays and early Christmas with family (12) We wanted for nothing, this Bothy has everything you need,.We walked around the feilded grounds, admired stunning views, fed the donkeys, toasted marshmallows, enjoyed the sauna and hot tub shopped in the local town of Ashbourne, made wonderful memories in this spacious Bothy. This is a seriously stunning and special place. The Hosts are very welcoming. LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT!
