The Wye National Nature Reserve and surrounding countryside draw walkers and nature enthusiasts to this corner of Kent. Cowslip Cottage sits on a working farm close to the Pilgrims Way footpath, making it a practical base for exploring the area on foot. The village of Brook, a short distance away, has a pub and agricultural museum if you want to venture into civilisation.
This converted barn is a single-storey property with everything arranged around an open-plan living space. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking proper meals—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine are all here. One bedroom has a king bed, the other two singles that zip together as a double. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. There is one bathroom for the property. A woodburner takes the edge off winter evenings, and in warmer months you can sit out on the terrace with the farm view. Wi-Fi, heating, linen and towels are included. On-site parking fits two cars.
The grounds have a pond and table tennis table. An enclosed garden provides some privacy. The property does not permit smoking. If you are planning to stay with children, note that there is a pond in the grounds.
