North Stable at Crabtree Farm

You step straight into a single-storey space where the living area, kitchen and both bedrooms sit on the same level. Open-plan means the kitchen flows into a dining zone with French doors opening onto a courtyard; the sitting area has a smart TV and those same doors frame views across the gardens. One bedroom holds a king bed, the other has two single beds that zip together. A roll-top bath and walk-in shower fit into the bathroom. The whole place is yours alone on the 10-acre Crabtree Farm site near Ashford.

Cooking is straightforward with an electric oven, hob and microwave, plus a dishwasher to clear up. Electricity, bed linen and towels are covered. An air-source heat pump keeps things warm, including underfloor heating in the bathroom. One dog stays free. The enclosed patio has garden furniture and a gas BBQ; beyond that is a lawned garden with a children's play area (shared with other farm cottages). You get parking for two cars. A welcome pack arrives with basics—juice, milk, bread, tea, coffee and biscuits. Smoking is not permitted. Steps exist in the grounds elsewhere on the property.
