As other reviews have mentioned, the place could do with some maintenance and some love in some areas. Despite this, the staff were super friendly and it's free to walk around. There is a small charge for the soft play but it was the perfect kind of soft play for younger kids 0-3. Lovely afternoon out, and very low cost for a nice walk and a soft play for the little one!

Cafe was ok but limited choice. We came for the mazes which are seriously dilapidated, presumably the reason why entry is now free. The children enjoyed anyway, but everywhere is in quite a poor state of repair. Lovely surroundings though next to the river.

We drove for an hour to get here as we were given some wonderful recommendations and the website states that there are 6 mazes and a treetop adventure. Upon arriving it was actually shut for maintenance with no prior warning and only the soft play (very small) and cafe were open. The staff explained that even if it was open, there are only 2 mazes left (in poor condition) and that the treetop adventure is gone, has been since after lockdown. They have no control over the website. We were left with an extremely upset 3 year old who is obsessed with Mazes, had sat patiently in the car for an hour, just to be told we need to find somewhere else. Disappointed is an understatement

Very beautiful place to spend some time with the family. Unfortunately winter times plants are not so attractive and mazes look a bit poor (the reason you get the discounted ticket that time of the year), but once they are green it all looks amazing. Lot of walking around so you can spend there a few hours not being bored.
