Lovely place with great glassware for sale (small discount if staying at Crieff Hydro, bring your card) plus factory seconds bargains. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and of course, you can see glass being blown through the week, small selection of antiques (some glass related) from local dealers. Can also paint your own glassware which is cheap and a lot of fun to boot!

A great place to see glass making and no booking required. Various processes can be seen and different types of objects made. Handy on cold days as it's nice and warm in the gallery. The shop has a great display of the products made as well as other glass. Prices from £50 to £250 for paper weights. There is an area with antiques on display for sale which my partner found very interesting along with a picture and photo gallery.

If you’ve ever wanted to see molten magic take shape, Caithness Glass is the place to be. You can literally watch the skilled glassmakers in action as they coax fiery blobs into the beautiful paperweights you see in the shop. On my visit, the gentleman in the factory was crafting a delicate poppy paperweight — and not only did he do it with effortless skill, but he also took the time to explain every step to me. Educational and mesmerising — like a cross between a science lesson and an art show. The shop is a treasure trove: a multitude of paperweights, each more tempting than the last, plus elegant glassware, from wine glasses that whisper sophistication to vases that scream “buy me now.” For those feeling creative, there’s a glass painting station where you (or your kids — or your inner kid) can buy something and decorate it yourself. My children thoroughly enjoyed it and emerged looking like tiny Jackson Pollocks armed with paintbrushes. It’s hands-on, informative, and frankly, dangerously good for anyone with a weakness for sparkly things. Come for the art, stay for the temptation to redecorate your entire house in glass.

Everyone has come across these beautifully hand crafted items at some point. Lovely to visit and see not only how they’re made by hand but also everything that’s available. A very suitable jubilee variation available in store. Kids can decorate their own glass and there’s also an option to design your own from £50 which seems awesome, we just didn’t have time. Definitely worth stopping in whether for a look, hands on, lunch or maybe one of the last minute bargains from the seconds shelf too.
