A very well preserved Tower house castle. Access to the top of a castle tower is always a huge bonus and the views from Castle Campbell's are superb. The staff were helpful and very knowledgeable. Parking is limited and be prepared for a short but steep walk to and from the castle entrance. A lovely castle in a lovely setting.

Really nice castle with great views. Surrounding forest has many walks. Parking is small (maybe about 10spaces) and a long steep walk up to the castle. Don’t know how those with children made it as it is a hike. Wear sensible shoes.

It’s well worth a visit - but be prepared. The road up is narrow and parking is limited. There is then a 10 min very hilly walk to the castle. Once there it’s very well done. Superb information from Lindsay at the ticket office. The castle is worth exploring and takes less than an hour to see everything. Incredible views from the roof. Well worth it.
