I am reviewing the restaurant as I did not stay, but I can tell this is a 5 star service and hotel. Got lunch and the service from start was fantastic, kitchen hours are wider than normal, had lunch at 15:00. The place is very nice and a place to take someone to impress. Quiet and elegant but simple, prices are fair and food is plentifull. Menu is small but has something for every taste, wine and beer selection is also available with a short list but efficient. Service is above average, fast and courtious. I will definitely come back as I enjoyed every aspect of it. I recommend it as an option when in the area, you will not be disappointed.

If I could give the rooms and service 6 stars I absolutely would. Richard and Calum were the front desk attendants during our stay and they were brilliant!! Absolutely every question, request, and need was taken care of by them and they made the stay wonderful. The room was stunning as well - beyond even what I'd expected when booking. On top of all that, the building was easy to find, easy to check in, and the whole space was decorated to the 9's. Truly a wonderous stay that really made our honeymoon that much better. On a final note, the food at the on site restaurant is a must try. Their chef prepared some of the most delicious food we had during out entire two-week Scotland visit!

We were on our way to the Isle of Skye so booked up one night in Cairn Lodge Hotel, what a fabulous hotel this is, a great little village and good location. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. We had a delicious Sunday lunch and a spectacular Scottish breakfast to send us on our way. We will be back for sure.

What I liked most about the restaurant is the space is sectioned off into smaller areas so nobody needs to talk over other table and background noice. The food was excellent & service was excellent. The rooms could use an update but are still lovely. Of course, this hamlet is located very close to Gleneagles, so there is a lot to complete with.
