Premises is lovely and the location is brilliant. I attended a friends wedding here last year and it looked amazing. However, the bride and party were asked to tidy up the event room on the night of the wedding... despite having booked the location for a further 3 days. Cleaners didnt seem to arrive when booked to do so. The worst part at least for me was having to ask staff to stop talking over the wedding ceremony. And now the premises has stopped engaging with the bride over her complaints about the issues. Id love to go back just to see it again though I would set ground rules and make an effort to understand the staffs expectations

Dreamy stay at Alexander house. The facilities are brilliant - great space, comfortable beds, beautiful scenery, well equipped kitchen, speakers throughout the house, a lovely hot tub, pool and outdoor seating areas. Also, great communication from Pippa and the team. Can’t wait to return!

Just back from 2 nights in the Thistle Horsebox. We had a very relaxing time and got lucky with the weather. Both nights we were able to sit outside and watch the sunset over the nearby munros. The hot tub was great, once it had cooled down. Was nice to be able to go away on a wee trip with the dog. The only negative was that we couldn't figure out how to get hot water in the sink. Everything else worked fine, once we found the correct switches. Might be an idea to put instructions for these things in the guide / app that is provided. Excellent trip though.

The moment we saw Alexander House we knew that we wanted to get married there. It’s an incredible place to host a wedding with brilliant sized bedrooms and communal spaces, all beautifully decorated. The house is surrounded by stunning scenery perfect for wedding photos. Sarah was brilliant from the very start, answering all our many questions and providing recommendations. During the actual weekend Sarah and her team were an absolute pleasure to be around. They went above and beyond making sure everybody was happy and comfortable and ensured everything ran smoothly. All the guests were absolutely wowed by the venue and the team. We will certainly be looking to return for a family weekend away.
