Yew Tree Barn is a newly converted barn set within the Dedham Vale National Landscape, in the small village of Higham. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms—a king on the first floor and a zip-and-link double that converts to two singles—with one bathroom and a separate ground-floor toilet. It is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with private parking for three cars and an enclosed rear garden.
The ground floor holds the kitchen, living and dining space, and a utility room with washer-dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. A substantial heated swimming pool—9 metres by 6 metres—sits beneath mature trees at the back of the garden and is available from May through September, with a target temperature of 26°C. A paved terrace with garden furniture and barbecue overlooks the pool.
Higham itself has two pubs, a bakery, post office and local takeaway. The location suits families wanting a quiet base with the comfort of a private pool, or groups of friends looking for countryside walking; hiking trails wind through the surrounding villages and farmland of the national landscape.
