About Whim Farm Caravan Site
Tucked just outside Monyash village, this no-frills farm site punches well above its weight for location. You're minutes from the Tissington Trail and Limestone Way, a short drive from Bakewell's pudding shops, and surrounded by Peak District views that make the basic setup worthwhile. The wide entrance off the B5055 welcomes tourers easily, and pitches are spacious—though facilities stretch only to drinking water, an Elsan point, and recycling, so you'll need to be self-contained.
What it lacks in showers it gains in walking routes: Lathkill Dale is on the doorstep, Chatsworth twenty minutes away, and two pubs are reachable on foot. The real treat? Ice cream made next door from the farm's own dairy herd, sold in the village café. If you want Alton Towers thrills, that's half an hour off, but most visitors come for the trails and tranquillity—and leave with sticky fingers.

What visitors say
Lovely site, clean, well kept and fresh water and chemical disposal facility available for caravan. Only down point was that we weren't advised at the point of booking that electric hook up for the caravan wasn't available, so we had to move to a site further into Flagg, however, if we become more self-sufficient power wise we will definitely return.

Loved this site, perfect for the wife dogs and me. Everything as advertised, water point, bins, a place to empty the loo. If you're self sufficient and dont want to pay the earth, this is the place. We walked down to the village for pub food one day and the cafe the next. We also found a local farm shop that was excellent, on the way down to the village. We really enjoyed the peacefulness. Great value for money, we will stay again.

Great 2 night stay, no showers or toilets but it is stated & everything else you need at entrance, water, grey waste. Chemical waste & recycling bins. Only problem we had was grass a bit long so got stuck parking up. We are 7.9m long so would only go dry weather. Definitely go back because close in walking range of 3 pubs, 2 cafes, award winning ice cream parlour and high peak trail. Views are amazing big thank you to the hosts of the farm 👍

Was welcomed by owner. Who showed me around personally. Very helpful and polite. Even had a chat about the area with us. Showers where very clean. Washing machine was available if needed. The little shop was very sweet. Home made cakes where lovely. Lovely walked direct off camp site . Would definitely stay again.
