About Tagg Lane Caravan Site
Fond of an ice cream or few on your holidays? You'll settle in beautifully at Tagg Lane Caravan Site, tucked into the Derbyshire countryside just outside Monyash village. This is the sister business to excellent Tagg Lane Dairy next door, which crafts artisan gelato from its own organic Jersey milk. The café dishes up gorgeous milkshakes, creamy coffees, Belgian waffles and cakes, while the farm shop stocks free-range eggs and grass-fed beef – so that's supper and breakfast sorted.
All this tasty food means you'll want to work up an appetite, and happily the site sits amid the splendid scenery of the Peak District National Park. The High Peak Trail – linking Ashbourne and Buxton along an old railway line – is a short walk away (bikes can be hired nearby), and beautiful Lathkill Dale is roughly three miles off. Dogs are welcome, so bring them along for the outings.
It's a 10-minute drive to Bakewell's famed pudding shops, 15 minutes to lovely Buxton, and 20 to Chatsworth – all fine places to pick up more local produce.

Basic caravan site in a great location with stunning scenery nestled in the Peak District National Park. Will return to try the ice cream, which drew a man in a taxi at 9pm after they had closed, so it must be pretty good! Basic facilities are there and well kept .

Next to Ice Cream Dairy from Jersey cows. Absolutely lovely. Field with electric,hard standing,no toilet facilities but suits me.
