Nice little place in the country, quiet and good rooms with a very well renovated bathroom (all new tile, lighting, toilets and shower). Breakfast was top notch, you could mix and match what you wanted the night before. Beds were mostly comfortable. No window in our room, just glass French doors that we had to leave open at night (too hot - even with the heat off). Lots of room for parking, Wi-Fi is very weak up in the rooms on the second floor. The hosts are very nice and helped us with planning one of our days out sightseeing.

We stayed here on May 2nd, 2024, during the Northern part of our round Ireland road trip. A great location with views. It was all ok, everything was clean and the breakfast was good, friendly staff (although sometimes hard to get hold of). The WiFi wasn't very good upstairs in our room, ok downstairs. Plently of parking space outside although we thought the outside generally had seen better days. Ballycastle is close by with several good restaurants although the ESB EV charging station there didn't work.

Would not recommend. The location is lovely - beautiful view right outside the front part of the B&B. However, the service and the room weren't really up to scratch for the price we paid. There is no tea/coffee/kettle left in the room, you have to use the kitchen each time you want anything. The shower had no shower curtain, so the water spewed out over the floor in the bathroom and we had to use our towels to dry up excess water. There were little half-shower walls for the shower, but they didn't do a great job of holding the water in. The door to the room has one of those automatic closing devices that shuts the door behind you, which is great, but it wasn't set up correctly for our door, nor the neighbor's door next to us, so both of us were accidentally slamming the doors throughout different hours of the night, waking each other up. There were only two rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom when we checked in, one of the rolls being almost out. By the time all of us used the toilet after a long day of traveling, there was barely any toilet paper left. When I went to ring the bell at the front desk to ask for more, no one came to answer. I noticed the hosts were having a cookout with friends and I didn't want to disturb them, so I thought I'd come back and ring the bell again later. An hour later, I rang the bell again and still no response. They were still outside, so I thought I'd just write a note on our breakfast sheet and head to bed, and get the toilet paper in the morning. About another hour later, we are all woken up to loud knocking at our door. I went to answer it and it was one of the hosts with toilet paper. We did appreciate getting the toilet paper, but it could have waited until the morning. The hosts also didn't refill the water jug in our room during our 4-night stay, but we had brought bottled water just in case. Still, it's the little details like that which make the experience great, and we just didn't really feel welcomed at this B&B like we have before at past B&Bs.
